The Water of Life
I don't claim to know whisky. In fact, I know very little. And this page is not, I repeat not,
any sort of formal "tasting". It is just impressions.
Also, please note that this is by no means all whiskys I've had. It is the ones that
I have so far written down anything about. More is comming...

The current owners of Torpshammar realised quickly that they had whisky lovers on site and proceeded to fetch a few "special" bottles from the cellar. Oh my...
Grain whisky. Pale straw colour. Vanilla, slightly floral nose. With hints of peat? Something in the nose made me think of
a Bowmore. Some apples, and a surprisingly spicy touch in the palate. A lot of wood. Bourbon? Think Springbank on grain steroids.
A long finish where the palate lingers to slowly fade away, and as it does there's some grain coming through.
Brilliant. Stunning. Beautiful.
NB: More details on cask number and strength to come. The whisky can be found here.
